Participants must demonstrate abilities from Level 1/2 and/or pass the exit skills assessment. Participants build on previously learned skills to achieve basic water competency in a pool environment. Refinement of front and back crawl. Introduction to rotary breathing, elementary backstroke, breaststroke kick and headfirst entries. Each course includes 8 lessons.

Participants must demonstrate abilities from Level 3 and/or pass the exit skills assessment. Improve participants’ proficiency in performing front/back crawl, elementary backstroke, and breaststroke. Introduction to sidestroke and butterfly. Each course includes 8 lessons.

Participants must demonstrate abilities from Level 4/5 and/or pass the exit skills assessment. Help participants refine their performance of all six swimming strokes: front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, and sidestroke. Help participants swim the strokes with greater efficiency and effectiveness over longer distances. Refine flip turns, open turns, and starting block entries. Introduction to survival swimming, HELP & Huddle positions. Each course includes 8 lessons.

No prerequisite skills needed. The purpose of this course is to help participants gain basic aquatic skills and swimming strokes. Teach skills and concepts needed to stary safe in and around water and to help themselves or others in an aquatic emergency. Each course includes 8 lessons.
To Pass this Course, participant must be able to:
Prior to the course, participants must be comfortable in chest-deep water, able to put their face in the water, and able to perform strokes that can be recognized as front crawl, breaststroke, and back crawl, each for 15 yards. The purpose of this course is to improve participants’ proficiency in basic aquatic skills and 5 swimming strokes (excluding butterfly). Also teach skills and concepts needed to stay safe in and around the water and to help themselves or others in an aquatic emergency. Each course includes 8 lessons.
