Dear AMLD residents and patrons,
Our staff has been working diligently to get our pool facilities up and running again as quickly as possible.  Unfortunately the damage will take some time to repair.  The initial repairs to reestablish water to our facilites has been quite successful.  We have been communicating with the insurance company and contractors from the beginning to proceed with the next steps of reparing water damage and bathroom facilities.  We will keep you updated as these next steps take place.  
We currently have the Anderson Mill pool at 10701 Schoolhouse lane open.  Although the bathhouse is closed we do have portable toilets on site.  We plan to also have portable toilets at the El Salido pool, located at 11500 El Salido Pkwy, as soon as we are able to open the pool for use.  The El Salido location sustained the most damage and we were unable to get water to the pool until early this week.  To take advantage of this time we have drained and filled El Salido this week so that we do not have to do this during the usual time in May.  It will take several days to get the water chemistry set at El Salido.  Once everything is ready we will notify all residents and patrons.  There will be portable toilets at the El Salido pool facility once we open until we complete the necessary repairs to the bathhouse.  The availability of the fitness center will depend on whether or not any ceiling will need to be removed due to water damage.  We will keep you updated as soon as we have detailed information.
