Gardening Club
The Garden Club at Anderson Mill Senior Center is a small group of members who are inclined toward digging and planting. The group which was formed during the first fall season that the Senior Center was opened was immediately presented with the task of creating a pleasant entryway along the ramp. This endeavor was accomplished with the help of the Girl Scouts from the Purple Sage Elementary school. After we finished landscaping the area around our building, a work-share schedule was set up for the watering, weeding, pruning and other gardening chores.  We now have a few seasons under our belts.  The annual vines on the patio are going strong this summer and the herb garden is growing like crazy.   The iris' this year have come back strong and the new planted flowers are blossoming and doing great.

Dulcimer Club
The Dulicmer Club is going strong with the teachers joining in during the summer months and our year round regulars practicing non stop.  Scott & Mary Ann Hetrick led the club during its beginnings and now two other members, Helen and Bruce have taken on the chore of leading the group.
